How ‘bout them Bucs? I know it’s just the Browns and the Panthers, but these were must-win games for a team trying to break out of the culture of losing that settled in early last year. After a shaky start against Cleveland last week, there was no question who the hero on offense was on Sunday:Josh Freeman looked just about perfect in every facet of his game. He made smart decisions in the pocket, threw some fantastic balls downfield, and scrambled for first downs at several key moments. The guy is something special. Helping him out is the young receiver duo of Sammie Stroughter and Mike Williams (shown below celebrating Mike Williams' second TD catch in 2 pro games). Not to be out-done, the defense was pretty solid as well (with the exception of Aqib Talib getting burned by Steve Smith for a touchdown on 4th-and-4 near mid-field… sigh.). Barber snagged another interception, and the linebackers were impressive again, particularly Quincy Black, who I now sort of love…The best thing about this team is that they are the second-youngest team in the league (even with Old Man Barber on the roster). There is so much talent on this team, and so much potential. Bring on the Steelers!
